FAQ

Below we have collated a list of points in the game where it is easy for players to get stuck, things that are hard to notice.

"Content not found" error occurs when attempting to "Buy Garaz" from "The Exchange" in-game.

Solution

This has been addressed so that Garaz can be purchased from “The Exchange” in-game on all platforms.


In Hanging Garden, "Changing Equipment" is not working properly.

Solution

This has been addressed and the “Changing Equipment” function has been added back in.


Can I use my character data from the PlayStation®5/PlayStation®4 version and play on the Steam version?

Solution
No, character data from the PlayStation®5/PlayStation®4 version cannot be used in the Steam version. Likewise, character data from the Steam versoin cannot be used in the PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4 version.

The same character data can only be shared between the PlayStation®5 version and PlayStation®4 version on the same SQUARE ENIX account.


How can I play with my friends?

Solution
If you wish to play the game with a friend, follow the steps below to enter the HQ code of the Sentinel HQ your friend is in, or you can create a private Sentinel HQ and play with your friend there.


1. Open the Options menu.
2. Go to the Community tab.
3. Enter the code for the Sentinel HQ you wish to go to in the "HQ Codes" option.
You can confirm the HQ code of the current Sentinel HQ you are in from the top right of the Community tab.


Can I play with people who are on different platforms?

Solution
Yes, the game offers an option for cross-platform gaming.

To enable cross-platforming, please follow the steps below.
1. Go to the character selection screen.
2. Select the System tab.
3. Select the Options menu.
4. Select Social
5. Enable Clossplay
*Note: The option is set to ON by default.

If you turn the option OFF, you will only be able to match with players who are playing on the same platform as you. This may result in longer wait times when queuing for a quest, so please take note of this.


Are there in-game and voice chat options in the game?

Solution
No. BABYLON'S FALL does not have in-game chat or voice chat options.


Can I play the game solo?

Solution
Yes. The game allows for solo gameplay. You can go on solo quests by creating a Private HQ.


Is there a monthly subscription fee to play BABYLON'S FALL?

Solution
There is no monthly subscription fee to play the full version of BABYLON’S FALL. However, PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 users will be required to subscribe to PlayStation®Plus (paid service).

Enchantments where the trigger condition is ”successfully executing a perfectly-timed action” are not triggered by actions other than a Perfect Dodge.

An issue where Vanity Attire thumbnail icons fail to display when accessing the Costume screen in your profile with Vanity Attire equipped.

An issue where overall contribution ratings obtained at the end of certain quests do not accurately reflect a player's actual performance during the quest.

An issue where killing War Leaders is not counted toward progress for Orders that require you to kill War Leaders.

An issue where players are able to revive themselves even after exhausting all allotted self-revives in multiplayer matches.

An issue that causes items equipped by your other Sentinels to appear in the shop when selling items even with the filter set to display sellable items only.

An issue where the Battle Pass tier completion dialog fails to display when you complete your current tier by finishing an Order from the Order menu.

An issue where all quest rating icons in the quest information screen are displayed as silver.

An issue which causes the Snipe enchantment on the Planet Cracker hammer to miss its intended target by a large margin.

An issue where Soul Vaults performed using a Gideon Coffin with the Tourmaline Shell booster equipped failed to count towards relevant Data Trackers and Achievements.

An issue that causes quest tabs to scroll backwards instead of forwards when the left trigger is assigned as the "Change Quest Tab (Fwd)" button.

An issue that allows you to access areas outside the intended play zone in certain quests.

An issue where Soul Swings are counted toward your Soul Vault chapter total.

An issue where the achievement name denoted in the description text for titles earned by completing specific achievements is incorrect.

An issue where players do not take damage from lava and toxic slime under certain conditions.

An issue affecting enemy behavior under certain circumstances in the Senate Assembly Hall quest.

An issue that occasionally causes a multiplayer quest to end in failure when only a single party member goes down. Occurs when all party members have exhausted their allotted self-revives.

An issue where items other than Conches are also counted toward the total displayed for the "Conches Obtained" data counter.

An issue where on-screen action prompts use controller button icons instead of their keyboard equivalents when using a keyboard to play the Steam version of the game.

An issue that causes an equipped Spectral Weapon to dissipate when you deplete your SP using Spectral Attacks.

An issue where the "Port Town, Kumar B" frame is not listed as a reward for completing the Liberator achievement.

This issue only affects the game text. Completing the achievement still rewards you with the correct frame.

An issue that causes the incorrect error message to display when attempting to enhance an item without the correct amount of Conches. The game should display an "insufficient Conches" message, but instead tells you that you have insufficient crafting materials.

An issue where the "Downed Enemy: Gradual HP Regen" enchantment occasionally fails to activate during the "The Temple of Bemus" quest.

An issue where stats totaled at the end of chapters and quests significantly undervalue a player's contribution in quests that include Watch Towers.

An issue where the prerequisites quests for certain Sieges are incorrectly listed.
